Norma J. Holmer, age 82, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Blossom nursing home in Willard, Ohio.

She was born on April 19, 1940 in Carey, Ohio to the late Oscar and Camilla (Mills) Holida. Norma enjoyed singing gospel music with her brothers and sisters, camping, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She lived most of her life in the Willard area. Her greatest joy of all was spending time at the local churches and being with her family.

Norma is survived by her children, Beverly (John) Gangluff of Attica, OH; Marvin Hale of Willard, OH; Ricky Hale of Willard, OH; Anita (Celand) Hall of Willard, OH; and Randall (Sabrina) Hale of Willard, OH. Norma has 26 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She has 2 siblings, Earl Dean (Gypsie) Holida of Willard, OH and Josephine (Jessie) Rowe of Willard, OH.

In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Hale, second husband, Bernard Holmer, 9 brothers, Robert, Richard, Jimmy, Courtney, Raymond, Junior, Virgil, Chelmer, Chester and 3 sisters, Zelda, Causby and Bessie; son, Stevie Hale and grandson, Travis Hall.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery on St. Rt. 99 in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Mike Sweeney officiating. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a very sweet and caring lady. She always greeted me with a smile and talk when I was taking care of my brother. Prayers for all . I really enjoyed what time we had. Anita if u ever wanna just talk I am here .
