Paul A. Phillips, 72, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 28, 1946 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Andrew Sr. and Emma Phillips.
After graduating from Willard High School, Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served from 1966 until 1972. When he returned home, he went to work as an X-ray technician at Magruder Hospital, and then joined the staff and eventually retired from RR Donnelley and Sons. He was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the Willard VFW.
He is survived by his siblings, Joan (Robert) Estridge of Willard, David Phillips of Willard, Ken Phillips of Norwalk, Elizabeth "Betty" (David) Wright of Galion, Francine Smith of Sandusky and Sharon (Thom) Berger of Norwalk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Evelyn Phillips, Rose Stein, Andy Phillips Jr., and twins, Larry and Garry Phillips.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home following the service.
