Paul D. Risner, age 84, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, Ohio. He was born on July 6, 1929 in Willard to the late Tilden “Red” and Pauline “Polly” (Lykins) Risner and had been a Willard resident the majority of his life. He was a graduate of New Haven High School and was an insurance agent for Western-Southern Life Insuarnce in Mansfield. Mr. Risner was veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean Conflict and was an active member of the Willard V.F.W.
He is survived by three children, Paula (Joseph) Prigmore of Lexington, Ohio; Kathy Haupricht of Plymouth, Ohio; and Mike Risner of Wellington, Ohio; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Dean and Edward Risner; and two infant siblings, Ronald and Barbara Risner.
A private funeral service was conducted by the Willard American Legion Honor Guard at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Burial was followed in Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
