Ralph C. Jordan, age 77, resident of Willard, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home. He was born on March 18, 1938 in Morehead, Ky to the late Thurston and Pearlie (Dean) Jordan and had been a resident of Willard most of his life. He was a retired welder from Sheller Globe in Norwalk, Ohio. Mr. Jordan attended the Victory Temple Church of God in Celeryville and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Ralph had also worked as a security guard for Senator McKinley in St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, Florida.
He is survived by two sons, Troy Jordan of Ashland; and Ralph Jordan Jr. of Willard; two daughters, Robin (Tom) Burkhalter; and Joyce Thomas, both of Willard; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Reaford (Nancy) Jordan of Willard and Billy Ray (Julie) Jordan of Bradner, OH; and two sisters, Joan (Bob) Mallory of Custor, OH; and Paula (Tim) Ray of Bradner, OH.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pokey Jordan; a grandson, Troy Jordan Jr.; two brothers, Phillip and William Jordan; and five sisters, Bonnie Barnett, Christine Stamper, Joyce Jordan, Lilly Mae Fultz and Deloris Trent.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Victory Temple Church of God in Celeryville with Pastor Earl Sexton officiating.
