Ramon Brown, age 55, of Shiloh, OH passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at his home following a long illness. He was born Feb. 14, 1951 in Salyersville, KY to the late Willpress & Molly (Fletcher) Brown, and has lived in Shiloh for the last 10 years, coming from Willard. He graduated from Plymouth High School. He loved to hunt and was a member of the Coon Hunters Club (WTRA) in Crestline and the Kenton Coon Dog Trials. He was a member of the Messiah’s House of Prayer in Shiloh. He worked for LTV, Copperweld in Shelby and had been a former Shiloh Policeman.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Risner) Brown, whom he married Feb. 27, 1982 in Floyd County, KY; 8 children, Mike Lawrence and Cressie Slone of Shiloh, Tonya Oney and David Howell of Shelby, Michelle Gordon and Sandy Martin of Shiloh, Katrina and Ron Gurney of Shelby, Bo and April Isaac of North Fairfield, Zaneta and Danny Craft of Munith, MI, Derrick and Kara Lawrence of Shelby and Brian and Stacy Brown of Shiloh; 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Fran Shoub of Michigan and Dottie Holbrook of Galion; 3 brothers, John Brown of Michigan, Sherman Brown of Plymouth and Burns Brown of Ashland; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Willpress and Molly (Fletcher) Brown; grandson, Brian Patrick Brown; 3 brothers, Roy, Willis ‘Buck’ and Jack Brown; sister, Jean Joseph.
Visitation will be Friday after 2:00 P.M. at the Messsiah’s House of Prayer in Shiloh, where the funeral service will be Sat. at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Bill Howell and Rev. Johnny Dutton officiating.
