Rebecca R. Hale, age 73, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bryan, TX on October 30, 1948 to the late Carlos and Maria Hilda (Perez) Luna Sr. Rebecca was a teacher with Willard Head Start and with the Willard School Systems. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Hale, whom she married on May 23, 1970; daughter, Dawne Hale of Willard; son, Jayson (Christy) Hale of Toledo; grandchildren, Kaleb, Sarah and Isabella Houser; Jared, Bryce and Madisen Hale and Lauren, Jack and Matt Hughes; and siblings, Robert Luna of Willard and Baldemar Luna of Sanford, FL.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Lukes Houser and siblings, Mary Rodriguez, Hilda Arredondo, Carlos Luna Jr., Elianzer Luna, Nicholas Luna and Ruben Luna.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM where her funeral service will be on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Owens officiating. Uncle Monte, Dawne, Jayson, and family - My heart is in a million pieces knowing that this woman. my beautiful aunt, your gorgeous mother, is no longer walking on this earth. She was such a force of nature. She was a true example of a strong, hard working, loving woman and we all were so blessed to have had her be a part of our lives. It saddens me to know that all my Aunties are gone now but in the same breath it eases my heart knowing she is now reunited with her sisters & brothers and her parents and our sweet Lukes. I'm pretty sure she's pulling her pranks on them just like she did when they were here on earth and she is finally whole and free from all the pain she suffered from throughout many years of her life.
