Richard L. Beebe, age 73, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on January 23, 1938 in Willard, Ohio to the late Walter and Alice (Clem) Beebe and had been a life long resident. A 1957 graduate of Willard High School, he then served in the US Army. Dick was a mechanic and owned and operated B-B Auto Parts in Willard for 30 years. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Car Coddlers Club.
He is survived by his wife, Johanna (Playko) Beebe whom he married on August 12, 1961, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Irene Beebe of Uniontown, OH; and Brett Beebe of Copley, OH; two granddaughters, Jessica and Amanda Beebe; a sister, Judy Simon of Fitchville; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Gene Clem.;
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM where prayers will be held at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with Father Eric Culler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Dear Johanna, my heart aches for you and your family. Please know I’m holding you close. I only wish distance didn’t prevent me from attending the service and telling you personally how very sad and sorry I am for you and your family. Dick is home now, safe and pain free. May God’s loving arms encircle you and yours. And may you take comfort in knowing that Dick is now loving you all from a differnt place, the other side of that “bridge,” a bridge of love and faith.

Bob and I send heartfelt our sympathy to you and yours. When we think of Dick and hear his voice and laughter in our hearts and minds, it is incomprehensible to think of the pain that you are currently feeling.
Dick’s memory lives on in his many good deeds. If you or anyone in the family needs a vehicle once you arrive in heaven, rest assured Dick will have it in tip top running condition plus he will know where to get a replacement part should one ever be needed.
