Richard J. Reber, age 74, resident of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Willows at Willard after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 3, 1951 in New Washington, Ohio to the late Leo and Agnes (Donnersbach) Reber.
A Plymouth High School graduate, Dick went on to work for Norfolk and Southern as a conductor. He was also an area farmer.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Paula (Jones) Reber who he wed on February 10, 1979; two daughters, Renee Reber (Jeremy) Wooddell and Mandy (Nick) Tata; four siblings, Ronald (Pam) Reber, June (Dan) Baker, Joan (Tom) Kanney and Karen Reber (Randall Bailey); sisters-in-law, Jean (Martin) Bever and Linda Reber (Barry Davis); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Reber; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, JoAnn and Paul Jones and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Chapman
Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Catholic Church.
