Richard L. Picklesimer, age 62, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away from an unexpected illness on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on May 14, 1955 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Leonard and Frankie (Risner) Picklesimer. Richard had recently retired in February from MTD in Willard. He was a huge sports fanatic which included the OSU Buckeyes and enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lawrence) Picklesimer whom he wed on September 7, 1984; five children, Keith (Sarah) Picklesimer of Willard, Melissa Lacy of Mansfield, Rebecca Lacy of Russellville, AR, Matthew (Bobbi Jo) Lacy of Oil Springs, KY, and Jeff Lacy of Shelby; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Delmer Picklesimer of Willard, and Marty (Sue) Picklesimer of Willard; and sister, Justine (Kenny) Bond of Nashville, TN.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard Jr., Eugene, Rickie and Marvin Picklesimer; and two sisters, Tina Kidd, and Jewel Baldridge.
Visitation will be held at the Willard Church of God on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating.
