Robert M. Caudill, age 26, resident of Lorain, Ohio was fatally injured Monday evening, December 1, 2014 in Lorain. He was born on March 9, 1988 in Amherst, Ohio to James and Mary (Adkins) Caudill and had live his childhood life in Willard, Ohio. He had attended Willard High School and later worked construction and landscaping and most recently employed with Happy’s Pizza in Lorain.
He is survived by two children, Isaiah and Kayden Caudill; his fiancé’, Erika Mincy; his mother, Mary Caudill; eight siblings, Vertie Woods, Mary Caudill, Becky McMillin, Tammy Caudill, David Caudill, Marie Sark, Yvette Kincaid and Norman Caudill, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Caudill; and a brother, Bruce Robert Caudill.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home, 202 W. Maple Street in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM where the funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM. I am very sorry to learn of your loss of Robert. It is difficult to know just the right words that will give you comfort. The Bible has just what we need when we have lost a loved one, like Robert. It tells us at Revelation 21:4 that God will end death, tears, painting and mourning. He will not forget us.(Isaiah 49:15) May these thoughts help comfort you and give you hope.

I did not know Robert but I live in Lorain and was saddened to hear of his death and the tragic manner in which it occurred. From my understanding Robert was a good person trying to provide for his family. His loss must be overwhelming for all who loved him. Please know that he will be watching over all of you and his children. I pray that you find comfort and healing knowing he was a good person. Now his job is over here on earth and God needs him in heaven.
I’m sorry for the loss of Robert. I knew him from back in our younger days. He was a great man and would help anyone in need. He had a big heart and always knew what to say.
