Robert D. McMillion, age 74, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2006 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on October 1, 1931 in Eccles, West Virginia to the late George and Evelyn (Henderson) McMillion and had previously lived in Shiloh and Mansfield. Mr. McMillion entered the US Navy in 1948 and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1969. He served as Police Chief in Shiloh for several years and later retired from the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Keesy) McMillion whom he married on April 21, 1973; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda and Richard Holbrook of Plymouth; and Nancy McMillion of Arkansas; three sons, Michael McMillion of Arkansas; David McDonald of Willard; and George McMillion of Willard; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Jack Miller of Kelly, NC; one sister, Helen Stover of Parma, OH.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. McMillion, Jr. in 1999; a brother, William McMillion in 1986; and an infant brother, George McMillion.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Thursday with Bishop Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio.
