Roger Lutz, age 78, of Willard, Ohio passed away on November 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on June 8, 1947 in Willard, Ohio to the late Vernon and Eleanor (Snook) Lutz. Roger was a 1965 graduate of Willard High School. Roger is an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He worked construction and then retired from CSX. Roger enjoyed gardening and bird watching. You could find him on his Harley taking trips with his friends. He also really enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Lutz; nieces, Rebecca (Charles) Plotner, Teresa Sykes, Missy (Dave) Birckbichler and Stacy (Donnie) Tackett; nephew, Scott (Wendy) Beebe; step brothers, Jim (Debbie) Roberts, Ken (Louise) Roberts and David Bisel; and many great nieces, great nephews, step nieces and step nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon J. Lutz, mother and step father, Eleanor (George) Roberts; brothers, Terry Lutz, Jeff Lutz; sister, Judy (Richard) Beebe; step sister, Carol Bisel and nephew, Mickey Beebe.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the Willard Depot from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is honored to serve Roger’s family.
