Ronald A. Featheringill, age 71, resident of rural Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1942 in Willard, Ohio to the late Gale D. and Gladys I. (Miller) Featheringill and had been a life long Willard area resident. He formerly worked at Heisler Trucking and since then at Buurma Farms. He enjoyed International tractors, flea markets and farming.
He is survived by his wife Nancy L. (Schwab) Featheringill, whom he married August 27, 1966; 2 daughters, Carla (Craig) Runkle of Plymouth and Rhonda (Brian) Lykins of Willard; son, William Featheringill of Willard; 8 grandchildren, Courtney, Robyn, Chelsea, Rachel, Christyn, Britney, Brianna and Bryson; brother, Gale (Nancy) Featheringill of Willard and a sister Donna (Michael) Laferty of Willard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gale and Gladys (Miller) Featheringill.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Pete Bellamy officiating. Burial will follow at the Centerton Cemetery in Centerton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky.
