Ronald A. Stevens, age 65, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Willows of Willard Care Center. He was born on April 22, 1951 in Willard to the late Clarence and Germaine (Steinmetz) Stevens and had been a Willard resident the majority of his life. Ron was a 1969 graduate of Willard High School and had been employed with MTD Products retiring in 2014. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Willard where he was involved in helping with the Kids R.O.C. program. Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Rufener) Stevens whom he married on March 1, 1975; four children, Lori (Eddie) Patrick of Ontario, Greg (Tonya) Stevens of Naples, FL, Brian (Sunshine) Stevens of Marion, and Todd (Melinda) Stevens of Willard; 15 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; two brothers, Robert (Cindy) Stevens of Plymouth, and Carl (Dianna) Stevens of Willard; two sisters, Ruth (Jim) Fetzer of Shelby, and Carol Stevens of New Haven.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Janet Marie Stevens.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Doug Beggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
