Ruth May (Link) Coy, age 91, resident of Plymouth, OH, went home to be with the Lord December 4, 2015 at her home with family and Hospice.
Ruth was born on July 10, 1924 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Elmer Link and Hazel (Scriver) Link Parker, and step-father, Jesse Parker. Ruth was a housewife, loving mom to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Ruth attended the Shiloh Church of God where she loved to hear the singing and preaching of God’s word. Ruth loved to bake, watching kids and making everyone happy. Ruth was loved by many and will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Butch) Lewis of Bellevue, Russell (Pat “Tootie”) Scriver of North Fairfield, David (JoAnn) Coy of Sandusky, Katrina (Marvin) Shepherd of Monroeville, and Kevin Coy of Plymouth; brother, Stephen Parker; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Christian Coy, Jr., daughters; Brenda Stookey and infant Donna Coy; son, Dennis Scriver; granddaughter, Karolyn Stookey; grandsons, Kenny Lewis and Dennis Allen Scriver; step-grandson, Marvin Thomas Lewis; and sisters, Jean Warner and Patty Williams.
Visitation will be at the Shiloh Church of God on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 PM where a service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Wireman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk, Ohio. Online condolence may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Ruth was the most wonderful and caring lady that I have even known. She was our babysitter for many years. We all have many fond memories of her caring and warm heart. She will be always have a place in our hearts. Love and miss you always “Rupie.”

Ruth was one of the sweetest ladies we ever knew. It was an honor to be her Pastor for the years she attended our church in Norwalk. Russ and Pat we are praying for you and your family. We love you.
