Samuel David Weithman infant son of David and Tara (Woodruff) Weithman of Galena, Ohio was born on January 11, 2013 at 8:42 a.m at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He weighed 2 lbs 3 oz. and was 12 inches long. He passed away shortly after birth.
Maternal grandparents are Gary and Evelyn Woodruff of Bellevue, OH and paternal grandparents are Alfred and the late Dorothy Weithman of New Washington, OH. He has two older siblings, brother Evan Reid Weithman, age 3, and sister Blake Marie Weithman, age 1.
A private graveside service will be held in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington, Ohio. A Memorial Mass for Samuel will be celebrated in Sunbury, Ohio at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. www.secorfuneralhomes.com
Condolences
I am so sorry. Words cannot express how heartbroken I am for you. That is why, during times like this, I try to look to the Bible for comfort. Scriptures such as Psalms 46:1 and 55:22 tell us to throw our burdens upon God because He wants to be there to comfort us. There, it also says that He will brace us up and give us strength when we need it most. I have found that the best way to benefit from God’s offer is by getting to know His real name which is found at Psalms 83:18. I hope these scriptures, and others throughout the Bible that give us such a wonderful hope for the future, can bring you a measure of comfort. Your family has my sincerest condolences.
