Sarah Jean Adams, age 54, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1962 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Guy Kenneth and Lavinia (Paden) Webb. Sarah had previously worked at the former Action Lumber, Rite Aide Drug Store and currently with R.R. Donnelley in Willard. She enjoyed following sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, hosting and cooking for her family, gardening, growing flowers, she loved music especially Pearl Jam, and most of all playing with her grandchildren. Sarah was a kind, caring person with an ornery streak in her.
She is survived by her husband, Rickey Lee Adams; four children, Luke Clayton Adams of Saugerties, NY, Sunny Renee Wilson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Scott Alan Adams of Willard, and Andrew Leonard Adams of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Avery Lillian Adams, Carter Grant Adams, Starling Eleanor Adams, and Zander Nathan Young; eight siblings, Stan Webb, Mary Studer, Ken Webb, Robert Webb, Pam Shaw, Leslie Zehner, Nancy McCartney, and Valerie Michael; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Lee Webb, Beverly Ann Clow; and a brother, Richard Jeffrey Webb.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and again on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. So sad to here the loss of Sarah, we watched the medical team come to the house and our hearts felt anxious when you had mentioned earlier she had been sick last couple days, your are caring and great neighbors and we are keeping you and the family in prayers especially this week. Will miss her on back porch and her kind words, always complimenting my liittle patch of Flowers. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate for good neighbors like you are special to us. Prayers for the children and grandchildren also. Our lives are so busy, I wish we could of known her more, she left her legacy behind in her children and grandchildren and be with all, always.
So young to leave this earth, your duties done. As you are greeted by your family in heaven, there will be solace in knowing you did a job well done here on earth. Make way for we who are to follow you dear Sarah so we can all spend eternity in the company of the Lord. I cherish your memory dear cousin even though we did not spend time together, I know your heart through your parents…loving and good people. Rest now in the arms of Jesus.
