Schenna Marie Polachek, age 33, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, following a brief illness. She was born on June 4, 1978 in Willard, Ohio to Christopher and Peggy (Tackett) Polachek. Schenna was a loving mother and friend.
Schenna is survived by her significant other, Joshua Tackett of Willard; her parents; daughter, Aliyah Marie McCoy of Willard; son, Jeremy Tyler McCoy of Willard; three sisters, Julia Ann Polachek of Willard, Rachele Lynn Polachek of Willard and Crystal Lee Polachek of Willard; grandmother, Violet Tackett of Shiloh, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harry L. Tackett; maternal grandparents, Carl and Thelma Polachek and significant other, Timothy McCoy.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Ripley Chapel Free Pentecostal Church of God from 1:00 to 8:00 PM where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronald Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorials can be made to the family in care of the children. Schenna was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. She and I went to school together, we lost touch for a while and reconnected some time ago. We been planning on getting together with some of the girls, but life just got the better of us. We all speed thru life not taking time to just stop and breathe or say hi to someone who meant a great deal to us. Once it’s too late then you lose that chance. I know I will see her again someday. Right now my thoughts and prayers go out to her family and loved ones, and especially to her children. R.I.P. Schenna you will never be forgotten.

Peggy and Chris, This is so hard for me to write. We really know what you are feeling at this time . There is no way to describe the loss of a child but grief and sorrow. I remember your comforting me at the hosp. when our Ken passed… I remember Chris coming to our home and comforting us when Ken died..Allow us to walk with you both in your sadness with our thoughts and prayers..Schenna will be sadly missed by all who loved her. R.I.P Schenna was our neighbor that we should of got to know and didnt. After seeing everyone go through your loss I feel that I did know you. I’m so happy I got to know Schenna we went to school together since middle school. She is a very amazing person with a HUGE heart that was willing to help anyone in need. Her kids, Josh and her family are in our prayers. It’s so sad that she had to be taken away so soon but I feel God needed an angel and the wings he had fit her perfect. We will really never know why she was taken away so early in her life but he does. R.I.P your memory that each of us have of you will live on. I pray for comfort for her family, kids, and family as they have to go through the process. You are an angel now anyone that knew you will LOVE and Miss you BEAUTIFUL <3
I,am so sorry to hear this news! Schenna was a beautful loving girl. I remember babysitting her and how she was always the girls second mother.So I no she was a great one to hers. My heart gos out to the family.My prayers are with you all.God Bless.

im sitting here tryin to figure out what to say and what comes to mind is a campout we had in her parents front yard when we were about 13.7 girls staying up all night and laughing (and driving her parents crazy!!)schenna we were a great person andfriend..i will NEVER forget u!!!
