Shirley J. Lasko, age 94, of Willard, Ohio passed away at the Blossom Nursing & Rehabilitation in Willard, Ohio. She was born August 19, 1923 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Ellis and Lenora (Delmont) Davenport. She formerly worked at the Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard for 19 years in Plant #3. Shirley was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1989 and the American Legion 8x40 Salon. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1779 and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Rish of Bucyrus; 2 granddaughters, Stacey (Tom) Meyers of Toledo and Robin (Billy) Johnson of Bucyrus; 2 great grandchildren, Shelby and Levi Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lasko and parents, Ellis and Lenora Davenport;

Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Darlene Robinson officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I too lived in the same neighborhood, and lived in the house behind Mike and Shirley. As a child growing up I have such fond memories of Shirley and Mike. They were another set of parents to all the neighbor hood children. Sandy and family, you are in my thoughts at this time. From the Richard Hill Family.

Growing up, we lived across the street from Mike and Shirley. My sister and I visited the dogs - often. We were probably pests, but they were always kind and patient. As a child, thought it was the neatest house in the neighborhood. One of those childhood memories you don't forget.
