Leave a message of condolence

Stacy E. Kick, age 58, resident of Greenwich, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at UH Cleveland Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on November 15, 1967 in Willard, Ohio to the late Randall E. McDaniel and Darnell (Bolen) Shatzer.

A Plymouth High School graduate, Stacy lived in the Plymouth/Greenwich area the majority of her life. She was employed with Mickey’s for over 10 years, working her way up to Supervisor before an automobile accident left her unable to work.

Stacy loved to talk sports with everyone but especially her grandson, Aiden. She was a big Ohio sports fan. Stacy’s favorite places that put her at peace was being outside, out on the boat, in her studio doing her arts and crafts, and most of all, hanging out by the pool with her grandsons. Stacy had a one-of-a-kind heart; she cared deeply and loved her people dearly and if you were one of those people you were lucky. Stacy had an overwhelming amount of love for her animals, sometimes her kids felt like she loved them more than them.

Stacy is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kent Kick; two children, Kortney Moore (Nathan Hammond) and Kc Moore; step-daughter, Erica Kick-Wolff; three grandsons, Aiden, Kohwen and Emerson Hammond; step-mother, Karen McDaniel; adopted daughter, Samantha Tackett; and three siblings, Michele McDaniel, Brett McDaniel and Rusty Shatzer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall E. McDaniel and Darnell Shatzer.

A private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is honored to be assisting Stacy’s family with her funeral arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huron County Humane Society. Online condolences can be left for her family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
