Timothy Eugene Kilgore, 71, lifelong resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on August 13, 1950 to the late Kelly and Juanita Kilgore.

A Willard High School graduate, Tim went on to work for Pioneer Balloon and Rubber Company for 27 years. In 1996 he joined the CSX Railroad where he worked until his retirement in 2016. Tim was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Willard. You could also find him down the road at the church working on the electricity or on the sound system. He was a good Christian and he let his light shine every day. Our loss is heaven's gain.

In his spare time, Tim and his wife, Kathy, enjoyed traveling, especially to visit museums. He loved to study history and was always collecting model trains. At home, he enjoyed working on tractors, gardening and hunting. Tim could be seen riding his John Deere (Big Green) Tractor over the hill and through his land. Most of all, his best memories include time spent with his children and grandchildren. He would visit his daughter, Rachel, and take his grandchildren fishing. When they were done it was Bob Evan's or the ice cream shop. Needless to say, Tim loved good food. He was also a self-taught photographer that took numerous pictures. He was also a trumpet player and looked forward to learning to play his dad's banjo.

Left to cherish his memory and life as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle are his loving wife, Kathy (Parrigan) Kilgore, who he married on February, 18, 1995; 2 daughters: Dr. Alethea Kilgore and Rachel (Mike) Adams from whom he has 3 grandchildren; Kennedy, Camden and Keaton Adams, as well as 5 additional grandchildren; Kimberly, Ashley, Chyann, Michael and Leland Collins of whom he helped his loving wife raise Michael and now Leland. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He also had 7 great-grandchildren given to him in marriage. Surviving are also 4 siblings: Fadanna Schultz, Marie (John) Fields, Ellis Kilgore and David (Sandy) Kilgore: sisters-in-law, Deborah Bowling, Patricia (Harold) Greer, Dona (ED) Wolfgang and Brother-in-law Terry Parrigan; numerous nieces and nephews; Cousin and Best Friend, Larry Holbrook; and Loyal canine Bree Ella.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Geneva Parrigan; two-step children, Gennifer Collins and Billy Collins Jr.; one step-grandson, Joshua Collins; 4 siblings, Lindsey Kilgore, Patricia (Clifford) Schultz, James (Shirley) Merritt, and infant sister, Elisabeth Kilgore; and brothers-in-law, John Schultz, Nicholas Bowling and Timothy Parrigan; nephew, Jamie Wolfgang; and loyal canine, Sassy.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tim's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene, 4414 W Townline Road 12, Willard at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Church of the Nazarene. Online condolences can be left for the family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at OhioHealth Mansfield, The Rehab Staff, and the Staff of OhioHealth Hospice for the loving care they gave to our beloved Husband, Father and Grandpa.
