I used to work with Tim, loading trucks at night at RPS, while we both attended OSU Mansfield. His strength and ethic were matched only by his own good nature. Many miserable nights in the bottom of a broiling hot, or frigidly cold semi-trailer were made bearable by his great sense of humor, stories, and pure ability to listen. I simply do not remember him without a smile. We solved all of the world’s problems and mysteries while in those trailers, building walls out of boxes. One thing he told me that I will never forget was his amazement at how many people avoid eye contact while passing. He told me it was because they were afraid they might have to smile or say hi.

Ernie DeGidio - Sep 25, 2008

Trena, Brad, Lauren, Chance and Braden Butcher - Sep 25, 2008

We can not begin to thank everyone enough who have supported us through this difficult time.  The out pouring from the Plymouth-Shiloh and Willard communities has been tremendous.  I pray his students will continue to strive for excellence as Tim would have wanted for all of them.  Thank you to my correctional family at ManCI for all your support.  Special thanks to Ape, Matt, Tracey, Robbie, Steph and James (The Friday Night Lights Crew).  You guys have been the best friends I could ask for.  Thank you again to everyone.  By your support, letters, cards, and food you have made a dificult time a little easier for us to bear.

Words cannot express how sorry I am that your family has to endure the pain of yet another tragedy in your lives. My heart has been sick this week as I try to absorb the loss of such a radiant soul, I am so proud to say was my cousin. Some of my fondest childhood memories are filled with the sound of Tim’s infectious laughter. Days on the farm with Tim I will never forget. Until this day I have never seen anyone handle a pig quite the way Tim did. I still laugh aloud when I think of him pulling on their tails and swinging them around. He just loved to make us laugh. This world will never be the same without Tim in it. Heaven must have needed a hero. I pray for continued strength for all of you. May you find peace in the comfort of eachother and all who love you.

Margaret Hudson Hoopes - Sep 25, 2008

Tim & my daughter, Dianna were friends in high school. It was a few years ago but seems such a short time and remembered so well. I can not imagine what all the family is going through. You are all in our prayers.

I had Mr. Snipes as a teacher in 6th grade back in 01-02. He was one of the best teachers i had ever had. He was so fun and easy going and was always ready to crack a joke or make fun of me. In our class I was usually the but of the jokes as i usually deserved. but still he was a fair and honest teacher. He taught me alot more than math and science. He taught me how to be a good sport and how to never give up. I was greatly suprised when my brother told me of his passing. I will never forget him or {BACON}. May you rest in peace Mr. Snipes.

To Dorothy, all the family, friends and students:
Words cannot express our sympathy to you at such a sad and difficult time of the passing of your son, father, husband, brother, and sounds like from the other condolences a great friend and teacher. Seems like the scripture on my mind is this
John 14
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Take comfort in knowing a place has been prepared for Tim. Praying for all of you now and in the days ahead.

Jim, Alicia, Ellery and Jack McKee - Sep 24, 2008

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been touched by Tim’s short, yet full life. He was a friend, a coach, a teacher but most of all a wonderful person. You will be missed, Tim!

Tim you impacted my life greatly and I will never forget the lifting sessions at the rec center we had my senior year, or when I was in your class and you told us you were getting hair and know one believed you and on Monday sure enough you had hair :). I wish I lived in the area still to help in some way but family and friends you are in my thoughts.
