Timothy William Casler, 73, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Known affectionately as Tim, he was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was centered around the people and simple pleasures he loved most.

Born on June 21, 1953, Tim lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1972 to 1974, spending part of his military service stationed in Germany. Following his service, Tim built a career at Owens Corning, where he worked for more than 20 years before retiring.

Above all else, Tim was a family man. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Janet, who preceded him in death. Janet was truly the love of his life, and the bond they shared remained a cherished part of who he was. While his family will miss him dearly, they find comfort in knowing that Tim and Janet are together once again. A man with a generous heart, Tim found great joy in giving to others and never needed a special occasion to show someone he cared. He loved hunting, fishing, crunchy peanut butter with ice cold milk, and a good Chinese buffet. Above all, he treasured time with his family.

Tim was the proud father of three children: Keri (Erik) Vradenburg, Michael (Jorgia) McKinney, and Candace (Mike) Collins. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Riley, Madelyn, and Gavin Vradenburg; Micah McKinney; Trenton, Colton, Micah, and Landon Collins; and Katie Carpenter. Some of his happiest moments were spent cheering from the sidelines and stands at his grandchildren's sporting events. Whether it was a big game or an ordinary afternoon, being present for his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy.

An avid outdoorsman, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life. He appreciated the peace of the outdoors, the excitement of a good hunt, and the simple pleasure of spending time doing what he loved. These passions, along with his love of family, created countless memories that those closest to him will forever treasure.

Tim is survived by his three children and their families; his sisters, Cindy (Greg) Ressler and Karen (Andy) Six; and his nieces, Chris (Jim) Gutierrez, Shalynn (Rafael) De Jesus, and Danie'l Six, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet; his parents and grandparents; and his two faithful canine companions, Butch and Sebastian, who were truly his best friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
