Verniece Tuttle, age 77, resident of Rome, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1933 in Dry Creek, Kentucky to the late Foster and Mary (Kiser) Caudill and had been a Rome resident since 1956. Mrs. Tuttle was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, collecting dolls, camping, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren who she dearly loved.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Faris Tuttle; three children, Veronda Kay Tuttle of Dundee, FL; Lois (Glen) Slone of Plymouth; and Doyle Keith (Debbie) Tuttle of Willard; seven grandchildren, Jackie Bolen of Shiloh; Tony Bolen of Dundee, FL; Scott (Amy) Slone of Crestwood, KY; Crystal Sexton of Ontario, OH; Chris (Tracy) Slone of Ontario, OH; Aaron Tuttle of Louisville, KY; and Nathan Tuttle of Belleville, MI; three brothers, James (Opal) Caudill of Dry Creek, KY; Wayne (Sue) Caudill of Gaffney, SC; Blaine (Judy) Caudill of Berea, KYthree sisters, Roberta (Raymond) Preston of Buchanan, MI; Evelyn Compton of Plymouth; Alma (Don) Hess of Shiloh; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Roba and Alvin Caudill.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth, Ohio with the Elders of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
