Wallace H. "Wally" Redden, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Willows at Willard. He was born on December 30, 1923 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Eugene and Kathrine (Durr) Redden. Wally was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII and later retired from General Motors in Ontario after over 31 years of service. He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth, a member of the Plymouth American Legion, and a former Plymouth Volunteer Fireman for 54 years, the Masonic Lodge, the Plymouth Lions Club and the Plymouth Historical Society.

He is survived by two sons, Tim (Susan) Redden of Plymouth, and Mike (Millie) Redden of GA; a daughter, Vicki (Marty) Miller of Kenton, OH; 7 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Sourwine) Redden in 1999; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Blanche Tyree officiating. A private burial was held at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice. I will miss Wally forever. I visit my mother almost everyday at the Waterford and always took time to talk to Wally. How you doing today was always answered with PERFECT. Never been to the doctor was also said. I will truly miss him and my prayers will be said for his family and loved ones to ease the pain of sorry and rejoice in Wally's new home.
