Wayne Robinson, age 85, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on March 16, 1936 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Estill and Sadie (Handshoe) Robinson.

A 1954 graduate of New Haven High School, Wayne went on to work for General Motors, where he retired after 30 years. He was a member of the UAW Local 549, a bee keeper and enjoyed participating in hunting and sports.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia L. (Tuscan) Robinson; 5 children, Lisa Kowitt, James L. (Marcela) Robinson, Andrea L. (Kelly) Linhart, Sarah (Kenny) Blanton and Jason (Tiffany) Robinson; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 5 siblings, Blanche Gayheart, Beatrice Horne, Hardy Robinson, Coleen Robinson and Steve Robinson.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Horne.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all the healthcare staff for all the wonderful care he received at the James Cancer Center. Dr. Mortazavi and his team, along with the  infusion Nurses who cared for him like their own family, we are forever grateful.

Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wayne’s family asks that everyone who attends to please wear a mask. Private burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth or Hospice of North Central Ohio. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
