Willard Manuel, age 84, resident of Shiloh, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born on July 14, 1933 in Maytown, Kentucky to the late Manor and Fanny (Arms) Manuel. He worked as a carpenter and painter, and also worked at the former Sheller Globe as a welder. Willard attended Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth and had enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising vegetables, and painting houses.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Slone) Manuel of Shiloh; 3 children, Wilma "Jean" Gaardsmoe of Shiloh, Paul (Kendra) Manuel of Shiloh, Willard Jr. (Brenda) Manuel of Shiloh; 6 grandchildren, Tim Kay, Sarah and Robert Lee Manuel, Kaylee Paige, Jason and Brandon Manuel; 3 great grandchildren, Rylie Belle, Emmit Lawrence and Evelyn Rose; 2 brothers, James (Jerri) Manuel, Ralph (Glema) Manuel; 5 sisters, Mildred West, Wanda Bowling, Janette (Harry) Moore, Brenda Tuttle, and Alice (Donald) Tuttle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Hall.

Friends may gather on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, with a church service at 6:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, with a church service at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at the church with Elder Buddy Carty officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. willards family allof us are so sorry for your loss we have all known him for along time he an i were reall close . but we allfeel that our loss is heavens gain.may god comfort the family as only he can in your time of sorrow.
