Yvonne Kilgore, age 70, passed away peacefully at her family’s home in Kentucky on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was born December 16, 1938 in Floyd Co., Kentucky to Kelly and Alma (Gayhart) Dye. She married the late Mason Kilgore on August 30, 1963. They met while working together at Wiers Farms in Celeryville, where she worked for almost 30 years. Afterward she became a homemaker.
She is survivied by two daughters, Delois Howell of Willard and Stacey Kilgore of Willard; three sons, Danny Kilgore (Jayme) of Shelby, Mason Kilgore, Jr of Detroit, MI and Wayne Dye (Kathy) of Monroeville; nine grandsons and one granddaughter; 14 great-grandchildren; parents, Kelly and Alma Dye; ten siblings, Lisa, Lance Dye, Vernon Dye, Loraine Cook, Genevie Spears, Diane Conley, Clotine Allen, Claudine Dye, Virgil Dye and Merlin Dye.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 37 years, Mason Kilgore; one son, Larry Dye; two siblings, Deborah Short and Timmy Dye.
Friends may call at the United Baptist Church in Tiro on Friday, September 25, 2009 beginning at 3PM. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes. com.

Your mother will be missed,especially her chicken dumplings that she made for every church dinner.She was an amazing aunt she will not be forgotten always in our hearts,just remember one thing when you get up each day after the funeral,mommy went home to be with jesus and know one complains that they get to heaven to soon! He”s the one person who will help you get thru each day. just ask him to help you each day he”ll be there for you, no greater friend you could have than Jesus love all of you!

I am so sorry for our lost of a great woman, Yvonne. Yvonne and my Mother was my best friends. Who I have missed dearly. Yvonne was a great woman, friend and Mother who loved her children and family more than anything in this world. My heart and tears go out to her children.
