Max Gene Lydy, age 76, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Ann Grady Services in Holland, Ohio. He was born on August 30, 1949 in Willard, Ohio to the late Jay Henry and Virginia Elaine (Berberick) Lydy. Max loved to listen to music on his jukebox.
Max's family includes his brothers, Alan (Evelyn- deceased) Lydy, Neil (Becky) Lydy and Scott (Mary) Lydy; grandparents, George and Eva Lydy (deceased) and Albert and Maude Berberick (deceased); paternal aunts and uncles, Wynn Lydy (deceased), Evonne (Ritz) Lydy (deceased), Bart Lydy (deceased), Janice (Hershiser) Lydy (deceased), Alice (Lydy) Buckingham (deceased) and Lloyd Buckingham (deceased); maternal aunts and uncles, Marlene (Berberick) and John Turson (deceased), and Larry Berberick (deceased); cousins, Gary Lydy, Mike Lydy (deceased), Brian Lydy, Tom Lydy, Steve Lydy (deceased), Robert Lydy, Matt Lydy, John Buckingham, Joni (Buckingham) Robinson, Gale (Turson) Wagner, Brad Turson, Becky (Turson) Harris; nieces and nephews, Angie (Lydy) Shirey, Lori (Lydy) Barnett, Curt Schlayer (deceased), Chad Lydy, Jason Lydy, Ashley (Lydy) Roy, Bridget Lydy and Heather Lydy; great niece, Adriana Lydy.
Max's funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at First United methodist church in Willard, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jacob McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, in Willard, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ann Grady Services in Holland, Ohio.
