Judy A. Wolfe, age 81, of Willard, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 2, 1944 in Norwalk, Ohio. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School. She married Gary Lee Wolfe on April 4, 1964. She then worked for the family business “Wolfe News Agency” delivering newspapers. After that she worked in a candle factory in Willard before moving on to Pepperidge Farm in 1981 where she stayed until her retirement.
She was affectionately known as crazy mama to all of her family, a name she fully embraced as the matriarch of our Wolfepack. She had a love for horses that started as a young girl when she spent summers on her grandparent’s farm with her sisters and many cousins. She also loved her cats and tending to her flowers. She had 11 grandchildren she referred to as “the originals” and 17 great grandchildren aged 2-16. Her Wolfepack has always been one of her greatest blessings and we are thankful for all the treasured memories.
Judy is survived by her children, Kim (Scott) Davidson of Willard, Kris (Bob) Schumacher of Attica, Angie (Bob) Kelley of Ashland. 11 grandchildren, Chad (Megan), Alec, Nick (Lindsey), Brittney, Amber (Nick), Aaron, Cassie (Daniel), Sly (Kenzie), Desiree (Brady), Dolores (Ridge) and Leeona. 17 great grandchildren, sister, Jan Roberts of Ashland, a sister and brother-in-law, Jerry Kay (Jim) Lake of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gary who passed in 2019. Her parents Jim and Patricia Dyer and a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce (Eric) Diezel.
Per her wishes there will be no formal showing or service. The family will hold a private celebration of life. Online condolences can be made to Judy’s family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com

My heart goes out to all of the Wolfe family. Judy was a second mom to me growing up, treated me as one of her own. She laughed with ease, which is what I remember the most. What a wonderful lady, I loved her dearly.
