Carol Christine Neukam, age 74, of Willard, Ohio, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Embassy Nursing Home in Willard.
Carol was born in Havre, Montana on May 22, 1952 to the late Charles "Mick" and Gloria (Holmes) Neukam.
After her father's death, Carol and her mother moved to Willard, Ohio to be close to extended family.
Carol graduated from Willard High School in 1970. She went on to attend Bowling Green State University and North Central Technical College. She was employed for many years by MTD Products in the accounting department at the Shelby, OH offices.
Carol had a strong faith in God. She was a faithful and long standing member of the First United Methodist Church in Willard where she served in many capacities.
Carol loved nature, and all animals, especially cats. She also enjoyed watching tennis matches and old movies, and listening to all musical genres. Her favorite hobby was decorating and sending greeting cards for every occasion. A card from Carol was truly a gift of love. It was her ministry.
Surviving Carol are her cousin Janis (Grimm) Crohen of Delaware, Ohio, and numerous extended family. Also surviving are her many church friends, classmates and neighbors.
Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jacob McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard next to her parents. Online condolences may be made to Carol's family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She was a kind lady whom befriended my mother Roberta Worcester. Rest assured they are "catching up" now in heaven. My condolences to her family and friends.

My heart aches. I’m remembering all the great times we used to have. You, me, Sandi and Donna. Sandi is right, all of us at WJs dancing the night away. I will always cherish the memories. I will miss you friend. Rest in peace Carol.

Carol and I go back to the first Sunday she attended the church where my dad was the pastor (First United Methodist Church). Carol and her mom had just moved to Willard from Montana after her dad died. Gloria wanted to be closer to family. We were especially close friends beginning in the 6th grade. We spent a lot of time at each other's house. We reconnected on and off over the years, and most recently after our class reunion in 2022. I live in South Carolina, but we spoke by phone almost weekly. Knowing that she was gravely ill, we (my husband and our dog and I) traveled to Ohio the second weekend in September to say our "good-byes." We visited her at the Willows for about 3 hours, then parted, knowing that would be the last time we would see each other in this life. She was a dear friend. I will miss her and our weekly conversations.

My heart is broken. We were great friends since our 9th grade in High School. We enjoyed lots together. Especially our dancing nights at WJ’s in Mansfield. lol we all was great friends and lots of fun together. Many many memories. I’m so sorry you had to go through with what you did. Gloria will hold your hand again. Love you Ms Neuk, her nickname from Me and she called me Kinger. Lol

I am sorry for your loss I was a diatary aide at embassy and it was a pleasure to serve Carol her drinks with her meals. I am a Christian so it was a joyful time to get her drinks with her meals for the past 3 months.

Carol was a good neighbor and she loves cats so much that when I moved out out of Willard I left her my cat named Sushi She loved her and she took good care of her.I will miss Carol and coming to see her and Sushi God Bless you

I work at ddm and became friends with her. I went and visited with her the night before she passed. I also went to see her the morning she passed. She was a nice lady. I'm sorry for your loss.
