Alice Marie Karl, age 79, of Tiro, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Willows in Willard. She was born on April 28, 1946 at home in Tiro, Ohio to the late Sylvester and Edith (Daniel) Karl. Alice was a surgical nurse for many years in Bucyrus. She worked on the farm and enjoyed tending to her garden. Alice was an active member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family the most.
She is survived by her three nieces, Rhonda (Tony) Larizza of Vermilion, Stacy (Mark) Durnwald of New Washington and Dana (Chad) Jeffery of Ontario; eight great nieces and nephews, Haley Larizza, Aiden Larizza, Phoebe Durnwald, Keegan Durnwald, Aariona Jeffery, Ethan Browning, Jayce Jeffery and Paxton Jeffery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Wechter and brothers, Thomas Karl and Benedict “Ben” Karl.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of her service at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Bruce Alge officiating.
