Scott Van Zoest, 64, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on April 12, 2026 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Born on July 26, 1961, in Willard, Scott cared deeply for his family and friends.
Scott will be remembered for his generosity and his heart of gold. He found true joy in making others happy and was known for giving thoughtful, heartfelt gifts that reflected his caring spirit. His kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and he was deeply loved by his family-especially his great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is survived by his sisters, Deb (Gary) Knoll and Janet (Greg) Shipman; his brother, Jim Van Zoest; his nephews, Kyle (Katie) Harvey, AJ Shipman, Cody Shipman and Brandon Van Zoest; and his nieces, Kimberly (John) Kaczmarek, Natalie Van Zoest, Isabella Van Zoest, Jessica Van Zoest, Jessi Knoll and Melissa Knoll. Scott is also survived by his special friend, Sheri Secor, and family friend, Marie Haney.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Jean Van Zoest; his sister, Kimberly; and his brother, Tim.
Scott's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
