Allen "Leif" L. Karl, age 74, resident of New Washington, Ohio passed away on June 28, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 19, 1951 in Willard, Ohio to the late Virgil and Mary (Fisher) Karl.
Allen worked in the trucking industry all of this life. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and New Washington American Legion. He liked attending tractor pulls and watching NASCAR and westerns.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Montgomery) Karl; two sons, Adam (Erica) Karl and Michael (Jessica) Karl; six grandchildren, Faith, Emmalynn, Sophia, Jaxson, Trevor and Sammy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by five brothers, Norbert “Norb” Karl, William “Bill” Karl, James “Jim” Karl, Jerry Karl and Herbert “Herb” Karl; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phyllis and Carl Montgomery.
A memorial service will be held at later date. Secor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting Allen’s family with funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society. Online condolences can be left for his family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
