Alma Hess, age 76, of Shiloh, OH, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 2, 1945 in Topmost, KY to the late Foster and Mary (Kiser) Caudill. Alma was a dedicated member of Hillside First Church of God in Mansfield, OH. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, thrifting, gardening, taking trips with her husband on their motorcycle, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Almas memories are her son, Brian Hess of Shreve, OH; daughter, Dawn (Kris) Kucinic of Shiloh, OH; grandchildren, Britney Garcia, Brianna Wicker, Beverley Sebolt, Brooke Tackett, and Mallory Kucinic; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Sue) Caudill of Gaffney, SC; Blaine (Irene) Caudill of TN; sister, Evelyn Compton of Plymouth, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Hess whom she married on November 19, 1963 brothers, Roba Caudill, Alvin Caudill and James Caudill and sisters, Roberta Preston and Vernice Tuttle.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM where her funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Glenn Phillips officiating.
