Was saddened to hear of Andy’s passing. He was certainly a very kind man… Loved to hear him play and sing…. I think Andy got alot of people started in music…What a gift he had…. It was obvious how many lives he had touched by the amount of people who payed their respects at secors…Rest in peace andy lee

I knew Andy from his working at Brunswick Defense / Guardian Manufacturing. He was always smiling, singing and talking about his faith. A good man that will be missed. My condolances to the family.

Becky, Your dad was an awesome,good man.My Dad(Art) and him played music together a long time ago and he was there playing a Benefit for him at Plymouth Legion ( I still remember it like it was yesterday). My dad was also a good friend to his brother Glenn.The world has lost a truly kind and generous man. He always stopped and talked to me whenever he saw me.I’m truly sorry for your loss. I can just hear him and my Dad playing Bluegrass music in Heaven right now!!!

This is a very sad day for me. Andy was a TRUE and GREAT friend to many but to me he was always much more. A friend to me and my family for a many a year. My mother and I worked with Andy and then mom and Andy worked together at MTD untill mom passed on. we will always miss and love Andy forever in our hearts. Gone but not forgotten and never will be. Now he will be part of the great bluegrass band in heaven. Singing his songs that he so often sang here below. Just makes me want to go be with him and mom so that I can hear him play some more. Rest in peace Andy and we love you so. Thoughts and prayers to all of the Hamilton family.

I love you all very much and I am so sorry. I have many fond memories of being at Uncle Andy Lee and Aunt Eloise’s house and remember when they would come to Kentucky and play music. Some of the best times of my life were during those times. I will miss him as will everyone that knew him. He was such a kind and loving person and there aren’t enough like him in this world. I pray that God will ease your hearts and minds during this time and that all of us will be together again in Heaven one day.

We really love Andy and will not forget recently we were in Drug Mart and ran into Andy and he said, Claris, I asked him what and how he was doing and he said I’m looking for Coffee.

so sorry to hear about your alls dad,,my parents knew him well.i remember when he played music at my mom and dads friends house and it was thier annv..we had a great time.my mom just loved him…he was a nice man…my prayers are with the family…i know hes in heaven with my parents singin and dancin and playin music..GOD BLESS ALL OF U..

You and your family is in our heart and prayers. It ment a lot to our family to see Andy make the trip in to our Dad’s funeral (Dempsey Hamilton). Even thou we didn’t know Andy that well by him come all the way here to Ashtabula to show his respects to our father says a lot about the man he was. Go rest high on that mountain Andy.

To the family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I was privileged to see him at the bluegrass benefit over there at Lincoln Way a while back and was on feet as he picked. I felt honored to pick there as well with the Hamilton Family for his benefit as well. A true talent in our local bluegrass scene and a heck of a guy. I didn’t know him personally other than a few hi’s here and there but always respected him. Loved to hear him sing that “I don’t need your rocking chair” and I think he proved that at the benefit. Take care and may the lord be with you.

All of you guys, your all like family to me. I last saw Andy and he sat right in front of me and talked to me at Big Mommy’s funeral he looked so good and was feeling good too, for everything he had already been through. I hoped he would of stayed well. Unfortunately he hasn’t, all I can say is God can HEAL all of you girls broken hearts. It’s a terrible feeling to loose a dad so really young when we think we will see them grow old. I’m keeping all of you close in my thoughts and prayers for healing. I’m sure he is pickin and grinin and no more sickness. He wouldn’t want any of you to be sad. With love, Danette
