Mrs Waggoner was my speech teacher in grade school. I will never forget working with her and my letter R along with other sounds… and for the bonus earnings of 5 Campbells soup labels (which I do not remember why I needed so many of those). Mrs. Waggoner was a kind hearted teacher who instilled confidence in her pupils. I, now, live in Sweden and speak a 2nd language, albeit with a thick Ohio accent, and to be honest I may have never had the confidence to become bilingual without Mrs. Waggoner’s influence on me as a child. My condolences on the loss of such a lovely person and teacher.

We were so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. She was so brave in high school overcoming her handicap by learning to type with one hand. In later years, Barbara and her husband attended high school reunions regularly and had such a pleasant disposition. She left a legacy of caring, over coming obstacles. still maintaining a pleasant disposition. Rest in peace fellow Ranger

Dear Tom, John & Joe, We are so very sorry to learn of Barb's passing. I have so many memories running through my mind right now, going way back from babysitting little John, and all those RRD gatherings, when Bob was still with us. Dick was always thankful to Barb for helping Jerry with his speech, as he had trouble with his R's. Barb was a kind and gracious lady, and a friend to all who knew her. So wish we were there right now, but know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Dick & Jeannine

Tom, I was very sorry to read of Barb’s passing. She was a good friend to me when I first began teaching. “Celebrate others’ differences”, was our shared mantra. What a wonderful woman she was! She’d come into my classroom and no one ever knew who her speech students were, she’d involve anyone who was interested. Just think of how many students she helped. Take care.

I was blessed that when I was in fourth grade Barbara came to Willard as a Soeech Therapist with Willard Schools. I had a severe speech impediment that she once told my wife” I don’t know if I could help him”, but she worked with me and I gave her to thank for helping me live a “normal”. God Bkess her and condolences to her family, she was a wonderful woman. Oh by the way, I’m sure I made her miserable as a new teacher, but she never gave up.
