Bertha Sexton-Vanderpool, age 85, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She was born on August 24, 1926 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Warnie and Clora (Patton) Stephens and had been a Plymouth resident the majority of her life. She retired from MidWest Industries in Willard after 25 years and had attended the Tiro Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Sexton of Auburn, IN; two daughters, Valerie Sexton of Plymouth; and Althea Sexton of Celeryville; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and eleven siblings.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Buford Sexton in 1990; her second husband, Robert Vanderpool in 2003; and three sons, Phillip, Larry Wendell and Garland Sexton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Valerie and family…so sorry to hear about your mom…she was a great lady..she was always so nice to me ..i havent seen her in along time but i always wondered how she was doin…i,ll never forget all the good times we all had at her house when we were younger…GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU…
So very sorry for the loss of your mother,grandmother. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many. Her memories will be the blessing that will keep her in your hearts. God has another angel by his side now. Haven’t seen you kids for years but have fond memories of everyone when we lived and worked in Willard.
