Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, Bertha Mary (Rice) Winemiller, passed into the Lord’s hands Monday, October 12, 2015. She was preceeded in passing by her father, Charles; mother, Anna; infant brother, brother Herman; and her beloved husband, Eldon Woodrow Wilson Winemiller. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Carole and Dennis Reed, Linda and David Link, Betty and Robert Thornton, and Roger and Tamora Winemiller; brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Thelma Rice; sister-in-law, Ruth Rice; and many nieces and nephews. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She was loved in her church and neighborhood in Willard, Ohio. Bertha was born in 1921 in Centerton, Ohio near Willard. She was married to Eldon “Winie“ Winemiller for 49 years. Bertha served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for many years. Her hobbies were her children and sewing. She will be missed by many friends and family.

There will be a Memorial Service for Bertha on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Church of God in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. A luncheon in the church hall will be immediately following the memorial service. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Willard Church of God, 4551 Willard West Road Willard, Ohio 44890 or the First Baptist Church of Middletown, 11721 Main Street Middletown, KY 40243.
