Burnadette M. Windbeahl, age 95, of Maplewood St., Willard, passed away Wed., Feb. 25, 2004 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born May 8, 1908 in Havana and has lived in Willard all of her life. She retired in 1965 as an assistant supervisor at the Pioneer Rubber Co. in Willard. She was a member of the St.Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.
She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Craven of Willard and a brother-in-law, Ralph Benfield of Sandusky.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Joseph Windbeahl in 1966; her parents, Albert & Cora Anna (Kocher) Hosang; sisters, Rosalie Martin, Leona Brownell, Mildred Benfield and a brother in infancy.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. The Funeral Mass will be Sat. at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, with Fr. Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Church.
