C. Orletta Kaple, age 87, former resident of New Washington, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the MedCentral Hosptial in Mansfield. She was born on April 1, 1918 in New Washington to the late Harry and Icydell (Milliron) Luidhardt and had been a resident of Mansfield the last 4 years. She was a 1936 graduate of New Washington High School and was a retired employee from the C.E. White Company in New Washington. She was a life long member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Washington.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Sue & Bob Winters of Mansfield; and Jane & Richard Niedermier of New Washington; three step children and their spouses, Huey & Jack Walsh of Gahanna; Paul & Leslie Kaple of New Washington; and Carol & Terry Kehres of Sandusky; 7 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Kaple in 1997; and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Washington, with Rev. Joseph Bartczak officiating. Burial will be at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Washington. Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Window Fund or the Alzhiemer’s Association.
