Inez I. Frankenfield, age 95, resident of 35 Maplewood St., Tiffin passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in Tiffin Mercy Hospital following a short illness. She was born February 25, 1910 in rural Tiffin to the late John and Margarite (Baker) Fretz and had been a life long Tiffin area resident. Mrs. Frankenfield was a farm wife and a homemaker. She was 60 plus year member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church (Egberts Church) in Tiffin.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret M. Schwab of Bucyrus; Mary Jane Kies and Don Houdeshell of Republic; three grandsons, Gordon Jr., Gary and Gerald Schwab; one granddaughter, Kim Herman; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; one brother, George Fretz of Tiffin; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Holman of Bloomville; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Frankenfield in 1974; one grandson, Bradley Kies; one granddaughter, Rhonda Kies; one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Paroz officiating. Burial will follow in Honey Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Bloomville, Ohio.
