Carmen A. Howard, age 65, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1940 in Akron, OH to the late Eupharus and Laura Pearl (Neafus) Fulper and had been a resident of Willard since 1977. She graduated from Stow High School in 1958 with honors. She had worked for Carol’s Ultra Stitch in Willard. She was a member of T.O.P.S. in Willard. She was a long time member of the Tiro United Baptist Church and is now a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard, where she played the piano at both churches and had many friends. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, fishing and most of all her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dane and Peggy Howard of New London and Daryl and Theressa Howard ofWillard; 5 grandchildren and 3 great garndchildren; close family friends, Darrell & Debbie Wilson ofWillard; 3 sisters, Hazel Craft of Ravenna, Laura Mae Reed of Lafayette, LA and llarae Roberts of Chapman, KA; 2 brothers, Charles Fulper of Hiram and Roy Fulper of Ravenna; special friend, Lula Sexton of Plymouth.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Andrew Howard; parents, Eupharus & Laura Pearl (Neafus) Fulper; sister, Norma Lee Fulper; 2 brothers, Glenn Fulper and Lynn Fulper.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ron Parsons officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorials may be made to the Tiro United Baptist Church or to the Freewill Baptist Church.
