Carrie M. Tanner, age 100, resident of Willard, passed away on April 25, 2004 in Willard at the Willard Haelth Care Center. She was born on May 27, 1903 to the late John and Sarah (Walther) Bittikofer and had been a resident of Willard since 1945.
She is survived by one son, Marvin Tanner of Plymouth; step daughter, Dorothy Dendinger of North Fairfield ; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Tanner; her parents, John and Sarah (Walther) Bittikofer; two step daughters, Doris Wonders and Iona Schild; three brothers, Artie, Talmadge and Edward Bittikofer and a sister Lelia Bittikofer.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, where the Funeral Service will be Wed. at 10:30 A.M, with Rev. Clair Brewer officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Sulphur Springs.
