Charles "Chuck" E. West, age 70, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on June 12, 1954 in Willard to the late Charles N. and Edna (Moore) West.
Chuck was a 1972 Willard High School graduate who retired from CSX Railroad. He was a member of the Willard American Legion and Willard Conservation League. Chuck enjoyed walking his dog in the woods and taking sunset drives with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jody Lynn (Chronister) West; two children, Jacob (Brittany) West and Megan (Anthony) Langhurst; four grandchildren, Sophie West, Lennon West, Winnie Langhurst and Gogo Langhurst; brother, Kenneth (Pam) West; sister, Norma Bivens; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Shirley Chronister; and sister-in-law, Kim (Jim) Nadolsky.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna West.
Per Chuck's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Willard Conservation League. Online condolences can be left for his family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I'm so saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. I have so many fond memories of him while we were neighbors with the Chronisters on W. Broadway. I remember during the time Chuck was "courting" Jody, he and I shared a cat. It had started out at our house with the name Oliver. When it began going to get meals from next door, Chuck named him Gomez. We agreed to call the kitty Oliver-Gomez. Many years later, after all us kids were gone and Dad was retired, Chuck helped dad with many things around the house. I'll remember him as a sweet, funny, kind man.
