Charles F. Hanline, Jr., age 56, resident of Willard, Ohio passed Sunday, September 18, 2005 in Tiffin, Ohio from injuries sustained in an airplane crash. He was born March 11, 1949 in Shelby, Ohio to Charles and Alice (Dome) Hanline. Mr. Hanline was a graduate of Plymouth High School and the Ohio State University. He was the executive vice president of the J.F. Stambaugh Company and owner of the Stambaugh Packaging. He was a member of the National Onion Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Moose Lodge. He held a private pilot license with an instrument rating. Mr. Hanline served with the 179th Tac. Fighter Group of the Air National Guard in Mansfield.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marilyn (Gates) Hanline who he wed December 29, 1972; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy and Pamela Hanline of Willard; Tyler Hanline of Willard; one daughter, Tracey Hanline of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and furture son-in-law, Matthew Vanderpool serving in Iraq; his father Charles Hanline of Plymouth; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen and Richard Myers of Willard; Deborah Hanline of Willard; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lisa Hanline of Norwalk and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Dome) Hanline and one brother, Earl Hanline.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursady at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with Father Stanley Szybka officiating. A private burial will be held on Thursday afternoon in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
