Charles Johnson, age 69, resident of Willard, passed away Monday, December 13, 2004 in Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on March 22, 1935 in LaRue, Ohio and had been a resident of Willard since 1939. He was a mechanic for 42 years. Some of the automobile dealers he worked for; Guthries in Willard, Bill Garlic in Bellevue, Cy Reed’s in Willard and Kessler’s in Willard.
He is survived by his mother, Bessie Marie (Hinton) Johnson; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Judy Johnson of Willard; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Robert Moore in Willard; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Johnson; and his father, Charles Johnson.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the Secor Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
