Tommie Waddles, age 63, of West Emerald Street, Willard, passed away Sat., Dec. 11, 2004 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born Aug. 24, 1941 in Knott County, KY and has lived in Willard most of his life. He had attended the Willard United Baptist Church and was a former member of the Willard Conservation League. He worked for MTD in Willard for 37 years, retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Daniels) Waddles, whom he married June 29, 1962; daughter, Vicki Waddles of New Haven; 2 brothers, Oscar Waddles of Tampa, FL and Larry Waddles of Willard; 2 sisters, Pauline Tuttle of Willard and Verna Triplett of Plymouth.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Culbert and Lizzie (Osborne) Waddles and a sister, Lillian Tuttle.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. The Funeral Service will be Wed. at 11:00 A.M. at the Willard United Baptist Church with Rev. James Wilson and Rev. Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
