Charles N. West, age 85, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in the Willard Healthcare Center. He was born on October 5, 1924 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Pearl and Loedema (Evans) West and had a Willard resident the majority of his life. He served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS California and retired from CSX Railway in 1984 as a crew dispatcher. He was a life member of the VFW Post # 430, a member of the Willard American Legion Post #514, the Willard Moose Lodge and the former Willard Eagles Club.
He is survived by his wife, Edna M. (Moore) West; two sons, Chuck (Jody) West of Plymouth; and Kenneth (Pam) West of Willard; a daughter, Norma Bivens of Plymouth; two step-sons, Ronald (Barbara) Buss of Harrisonburg, VA; and Robert (Barbara) Buss of Glasgow, KY; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four bothers, Lloyd, Louis, Earl and Thomas West.
