Craig Thomas Donnamiller, 35, resident of Florida for the last 15 years, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 after losing a battle with addiction. He was born on April 14, 1985 to Melinda (Zipfel) Flores and Roger Donnamiller.
Craig attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School and Willard High School. He went on to graduate with honors from both Olympia High School and The Ohio State University, from which he obtained his BSN. Helping others was a passion of Craig’s; he was involved with a Medical Mission trip to Uganda as well as worked as a RN for local Florida hospitals, where he earned the 2015 Daisy Award for patient satisfaction.
Craig was known for having the biggest heart, bluest eyes and his smile could light up a room. He loved animals and traveling and enjoyed weightlifting.
A loyal son, brother and friend, Craig is survived by his parents, Melinda Zipfel (Ruben) Flores and Roger (Christine) Donnamiller; brothers, Brian (Kaleigh) Donnamiller and their daughter, Madelyn and Eric Donnamiller; step sister, Kayla (Tom) Salmons and their children, Braelynn and Bronson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Craig was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Betty Zipfel; and paternal grandparents, Louis and Margaret “Peg” Donnamiller.
Private family services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Burial will take place at St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Bismark, Ohio.
